After the impressive sells of Feng Juanxue’s Solo Exhibition, here comes the Taiwanese QIU Zhiwei’s “Dream in Eye” in Micro-Solo-Exhibition area in hi art store.
As he said, there were all girls’ pupils in his paintings, beautiful and brilliant like an ideal garden, with hope and excitement towards future. He said these girls were just like some pictures of a sort of mood of his. They represent him to view the world, represent him to talk, to communicate with the outside world. I think these sylphlike faces doesn’t need any gender to define, while they were how QIU Zhiwei wanted us to see him and his another side. There were different tones with various decorations, but the only thing stay still was a couple of eyes facing you. Through these eyes, different people can see their own expectation from these pupils.
