Portraits— 2012 Summer Group Exhibition of Hi Art Store 2012.7.6-8.2

“Who am I? Whom am I acting as, whom do I want to act as? Does it exist that there is someone else playing another me, and who actually is real?”

After a month of collection, the Exhibition “Portraits” is carrying self-investment, reasoning and unscrambling of near 70 young artists. Throughout portraits, they express themselves to the world! As young artists nowadays, the subject portrait is not just limited in “portrait in the mirror” of Renaissance; they tacitly put themselves into reality or their imagination of world, and break away from the traditional purpose to be shaped. This is more like a show, which the artists set up a role for themselves in the picture, with supernormal dress and posture, to produce another one living in a different space. In the meantime, Hi Art Store has already become a broad stage of this show. Every “I” could play their own playbill here. July 7, at 17:00, Hi Art Store will lift the curtain for you!
